About this Course

Participants will use the Microsoft MakeCode platform for block based coding and the BBC micro:bit microcontroller to learn about coding and programming as well as inputs and outputs. Participants will code and learn to make practical projects including step counters, nightlights, and games. Due to the duration length of this program, participants under ten (10) years of age do not need to be accompanied in the program. However, parents/guardians are expected to remain at the program location for its duration in the event their immediate assistance is required.
