About this Course

Participants will use VEX IQ Robotics sets to explore how mechanical advantage and centre of mass affect the robots ability to pull objects, while working towards designing the best robot for a game of tug of war. They will then go on to learn about wheels and sensors in order to be able to drive their robot to compete in a Freeze Tag competition. Participants will learn how to build and code a Clawbot robot with optical sensors in order to compete in a treasure hunt competition. They will then go on to learn how to design their Clawbot to collect, pick-up and move cubes in an up and over competition.
