About this Course

The 'We Play Too' conference will focus on the positive influence sports has on the lives of girls and women by driving home the message of playing to your strengths both on and off the field of play, resilience in the face of adversity and gaining leadership skills throughout the journey. The goal of the conference is to give each athlete empowering tools to take back with them to their field of play and in their everyday lives. The conference will feature three sessions, with speakers touching on how sports can be used to develop oneself, build community and drive positive change. Their interactive sessions will touch on tools needed for success to develop female leaders of tomorrow. Schedule of Events: 12:00-1:00pm Sports Try-It (Required Equipment: Clean indoor running shoes.) 1:00-3:00pm Conference This program welcomes women and girls, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming individuals who identify with programs created for women and girls.
