About this Class

For experienced figure skaters to individually practice their spins, jumps and the fundamentals of figure skating. Everyone with skates must pay to attend. This program is unsupervised during non-prime hours. Those under 10 years of age must be supervised by a parent/guardian 14 years of age or older. Prerequisites: All skaters must have good control/balance when skating forward, backward and be excellent at stopping, as well as maneuvering around obstacles on the ice. Restrictions: No lifts are allowed. No synchronized team practice, though individuals can practice routines individually. Music will not be played for the consideration of everyone attending. Jump harnesses will not be permitted for use. Recommended: It is highly recommended that all participants come with a parent/guardian or coach, consider wearing a Canadian Standard Association (CSA) certified hockey helmet, and be at Skate Canada STAR 1 level or higher. This program is not scheduled to run on Monday, October 10, 2022 and Monday, October 31, 2022 and Monday December 26, 2022 and Monday, February 20, 2023 and Monday, March 13, 2023 and April 10, 2023.
